« After extensive dental studies at the Aix-Marseille faculty of dentistry, I decided to specialize in orthodontics through orthodontic residency of the public hospital of Paris.

At the end of these 3 years of full-time training at the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital, I wanted to deepen my knowledge. What I was able to do by continuing my training abroad (United States, Australia ...) and learning the latest orthodontic techniques.

ORTHODONTICS FOR OUR LITTLE LOVED ONE

All children should get an orthodontic checkup by Age 7

The HAS (French National Authority for Health) recommend all children should see an orthodontist by this age because the first set of permanent molars and incisors have usually erupted. This is the ideal time to evaluate your child’s tooth relationships and facial pattern to check for proper balance, symmetry and growth. This evaluation may reveal that development is fine and early treatment is not needed. Or, Dr. Bouhnik may identify a developing problem but recommend monitoring your child’s growth and development, and then, if indicated, begin treatment at the appropriate time. In other cases, Dr. Bouhnik might find a problem that can benefit from early orthodontic treatment.
